A great craftsman style home Basement installation eliminated the need for tenting and frost protection Repair to the drywall and basement slab was considered to be a better option than landscape repair Finished Eagle Ranch
Push Piers (Residential)
- Project: Eagle Ranch Subdivision 2 homes
- Location: Eagle, Colorado
- Date: November, 2009
Condition:
The evaluation revealed a lack of roof gutters and the existence of drainage issues. Both homes had settled more than 2 inches on their southwest corners. Creating cracks in walls, ceilings, and doors that could not be operated.
Corrective Measures:
Foundation Repair of Western Colorado installed Push Piers to lift and stabilize the foundation and prevent further vertical settlement. In a few cases, piers reached a depth as great as 61 feet with a lift capability of over 50 Kips.
Results:
Installation of Push Piers has lifted the house to a more level condition, and stopped ongoing and distractive movement! Most of the drywall cracks closed, and doors became operational. Roof eaves of the home and the porch came into a parallel plane with one another, eliminating a “curious” view from the curb.
“The foundation specialist was very helpful alleviating our concerns and a valuable source of information. From the beginning he made himself available to discuss our concerns and was always willing to take the time to communicate with us.” – John P.
