Foundation Repair of Western Colorado Case Studies: Commercial Building Foundation Stabilization in Edwards CO

Wednesday, January 11th, 2017 by Ted Munkres

A municipal building was experiencing severe foundation issues due to shifting soil. The building was built on the side of a mountain. Big cracks in and around doors, doors and windows uneven and difficult to open & close.

When you call the Rocky Mountains home, you find that the biggest challenges for the community operations department occur in the winter.  The snowplow crew sets out in the dark of early morning on snow days and keeps at it all day. You’ll find that this districts roads are the best plowed in the county.

The job started in December and we experienced some difficult snow days. Except for a very few exceptions, our crews are able to work every day during the winter.

We installed fifty six 3.5" Push Piers; 24 inside and the rest on the outside perimeter.
