Condition:
Tim's home is a ranch style with walkout basement built in 1950. The North and South foundation walls extended beyond the home providing retaining structures for the garden level patio. The addition to the West was constructed on a 3-foot crawlspace. The south wall and the southwest corner of the addition had dropped nearly 2 inches while the north wall was only 1 3/8 inches low.
Corrective Measures:
Foundation Repair of Western Colorado LLC installed fifteen Foundation Supportworks™ Push Piers to partially lift and stabilize the foundation while prevent further vertical settlement.
Results:
Installation of Push Piers has stopped the movement. The North wall and West addition, were lifted near level, until cracks closed and doors were operational. Cracks in the south wall close and the kitchen is much more level now.
