About Foundation Repair of Western Colorado LLC
Founder - Ted Munkres
Ted began working summers in 1958, for a builder constructing homes. After a time in the U.S. Navy, he began his career in the San Francisco Bay Area as a carpenter apprentice. In the late 1960s he found himself working on his first foundation repair. Since that time, he has found the opportunity to work on dozens of homes that have needed foundation work.
Building in the Grand Junction area since 1980 has provided Ted with a high level of knowledge about the diverse soil types that make up the support structure for the foundations of our homes. Recognizing the many reasons that foundations sometimes fail is part of the equation for a successful repair.
Ted is a Certified Foundation Specialist and is well-educated on the reasons why foundations sometimes fail. All employees have extensive training in how to analyze and solve even the toughest foundation problems.
After carefully considering the foundation repair business, Ted discovered The Grip-Tite Foundation Repair System. Grip-Tite has been in business for over 70 years and is the most innovative and customer-oriented company of its type. Foundation Repair of Western Colorado LLC is it’s exclusive dealer in Western Colorado.
We are proud to provide Grip-Tite products for making permanent foundation repairs.
